Ted Gendron
Most of my life has been spent in and around sports. From a very young age, I started playing sports and enjoyed the competition, camaraderie and friendships that it provided. My entire career has been connected to sport in one way or another, enjoying all roles from player, coach, official, to volunteer.
While attending Brock University, along with his friend, we launched the Brock University baseball program, which is still going strong today.
An entrepreneur at heart, my first company after university was a regional sports publication. With many sports-related jobs throughout my career, my time as the Executive Director at Guelph Soccer led me to start Kidspired Media in 2018, which helps generate sponsorship revenue to more than 100 minor sport organizations in Canada.

We understand how difficult it can be to face a challenge or start an endeavour alone. It all begins with a conversation, with yourself and with others, about your fears and frustrations and someone to remind you of your greatness.

Ted and I met through Kidspired's marketing development, and we hit it off right away. We collided in the best way, like when chocolate collides with peanut butter; separately, they are both great, but the combination of the two creates something even better!
We connected over a similar passion for inspiring others. We shared our struggles and challenges and discovered our common passion for paying forward our life experiences to help others with their self-exploration and confidence-building. And through our connection, and REAL conversations.....from the park bench was born.
